Paint Correction.

Multi stage machine polishing that removes swirls, scratches and oxidation for a true mirror finish. Booked by hand across Hanover and the surrounding area.

What It Is

Bring Back The Depth.

Paint correction is a machine polishing process that physically removes swirl marks, light scratches and oxidation from the clear coat. We assess the paint, wash and decontaminate it, then work through one to three stages of polishing depending on how much defect there is. A test panel confirms the approach before we correct the whole vehicle.

The result is restored depth, gloss and true colour, with no hologramming left behind. Because correction removes a small amount of clear coat, it is usually paired with a ceramic coating or sealant to protect the finish afterward.

What Is Included

  • Paint depth and gloss assessment
  • Decontamination wash before polishing

Local & Mobile

We Come To You.

Paint on vehicles around Grey and Bruce County takes a beating from road salt, sand, sun and years of washing. Correction is what brings back the depth and shine that daily driving wears away. We are fully mobile and bring the process to your driveway from Hanover to Port Elgin, with our own power and lighting to do the work properly.

The Process

How It Works.

01

Assess

We inspect the paint and take readings, then agree on a one, two or three stage approach for your vehicle.

02

Prep

A decontamination wash and clay treatment so we polish clean paint, not trapped grit.

03

Correct

A test panel first, then methodical machine polishing to remove swirls, scratches and oxidation.

04

Protect

We recommend a sealant or ceramic coating to lock in the corrected finish before we leave.

What Shapes The Price

Honest Quotes, No Surprises.

Every vehicle is different, so we quote from the real condition of your car rather than a fixed menu. These are the things that shape the price.

Number Of Stages

Newer paint in good shape may only need a single stage, while heavily swirled or oxidized paint can need two or three stages, which adds significant time.

Vehicle Size And Paint

Larger vehicles have more panels to correct, and some paint types and colours take longer to refine than others.

Condition

Deep scratches, heavy oxidation and years of wash marring take more work to bring back. We assess the paint and are honest about what correction can and cannot remove.

Send a few photos and we will provide an honest quote based on the actual condition of your vehicle.

Questions

Good Questions, Straight Answers.

Will paint correction remove every scratch?

Correction removes swirl marks, light scratches and oxidation that sit within the clear coat. Deeper scratches that have gone through the clear coat cannot be fully polished out, but they can often be improved. We assess your paint first and tell you honestly what to expect.

Do I need a ceramic coating after paint correction?

It is strongly recommended. Correction removes a small amount of clear coat and leaves the paint at its best, so protecting it with a ceramic coating or sealant keeps that finish and helps prevent new swirls. We can do both in the same booking.

How long does paint correction take?

Paint correction can be a full or multi day job depending on the size of the vehicle and the number of stages needed. We confirm timing after we assess the paint.
