Exterior detailing is a careful hand wash and paint decontamination that leaves your vehicle glass smooth and protected. We start with a foam pre wash to lift loose dirt, then a contact two bucket wash so grit never gets dragged across the paint. Iron and tar are chemically removed and a clay treatment pulls out anything still bonded to the clear coat.
Wheels, tires, wheel wells and trim get the same attention as the paint. We finish with a spray sealant for weeks of protection and gloss. This is a maintenance and protection service, not machine polishing. For swirl and scratch removal, see our paint correction.

Vehicle Size
A larger truck, SUV or van has more panels and glass to hand wash than a compact car, which adds time.
Condition
Heavy mud, bug splatter, tar or bonded contamination takes longer to safely remove than a lightly dirty vehicle.
Package Scope
Add ons such as extra wheel cleaning or a longer lasting sealant change the scope. We confirm what makes sense for your vehicle first.

What is the difference between an exterior detail and paint correction?
An exterior detail is a hand wash, decontamination and protection service that makes the paint clean, smooth and glossy. Paint correction is a separate machine polishing service that physically removes swirls, scratches and oxidation from the clear coat. Many customers start with an exterior detail and add correction if they want to remove defects.
How often should I book an exterior detail?
It depends on how and where you drive, but many customers book a maintenance wash every few weeks and a fuller exterior detail seasonally, especially heading into and out of Ontario winter when road salt is heaviest.
Do you clean the wheels and wheel wells?
Yes. Wheels, tires, wheel wells and trim are all included in every exterior detail and cleaned with the same care as the paint.
